These are the camera angles we will use in our main piece, we decided on most of these whilst doing our practice filming.
Here is a detailed list with pictures of which angles we will use:
Low angle shot-Opening scene approaching centre
High angle shot-Kidnapping scene
Shot reverse shot-During the dialogue between friends
Close up-Opening scene when Fogul notices the camera

Questionaire results
These are our questionnaire results, we will use this results to help us produce our film opening as this questionnaire tells us what our target audience 'teens' would want to see. These results are very valuable pieces of data to us.
Question 1 Analysis:
Question One was an important question to ask as it points us in the right direction. By knowing what genre our target audience tends to like is extremely helpful.
This question also helps as we wanted to do a comedy film and we originally thought that this would be a popular genre amongst teens. This result also helps our deconstructions as we have deconstructed a couple of comedy films and this has made us aware of the vast variety of comedy and that this genre leaves us with plenty of options to consider.
Question 2: This set of results helps us to focus in on a certain type of comedy. This also helps us to develop our idea and script as it gives us a basis to operate. These results also help us to choose our locations and cast (as if we were doing stand up it would have to be inside with one person and an audience.)
Question 3:
These results our massively helpful as we have included our ideas from our brainstorming session. This question also helps us to narrow down to which of our ideas we should do. Our deconstructions have massively helped us here as they narrow down which of our ideas would be suitable. This question is very important as the answers will be a big part of which idea we end up choosing.
Question 4:
This set of results help us to decide how we will put together our opening and how much special effects and costumes etc we will include. Our deconstructions have taught us that most film openings in the comedy genre are usually kept quite simple. This answer is important as we cannot make the script without knowing if we need special effects and how much of them we need.
Question 5: This is also very important as we HAVE to include film credits on our film opening somewhere and the results of this question give us a basic idea of where to include them and how to include them. Our deconstructions will also influence how we include credits as we will use them as examples to follow

Deconstruction
The brief for our piece was to do the titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes. We then did research into different films with ideas in that we thought would be good for our own piece. I deconstructed the film Gran Tourino and here is my deconstruction of it.
The film opens up with the opening titles which are in bold white on a black background. This automatically makes the audience think that the film could be about a bold statement. Warner bro's are the production company and when the audience see this they automatically notice its a well known production company which makes them want to see more.
The opening scene consists of a church, then inside the church there is a man playing a piano, we see there are people in the church for a service. The audience dosn't know how to feel yet as they do not know what the service is for. We then see a picture of a woman on top of a coffin. The audience then knows that it is a funeral service. We then see a man stood at the front of the church. We presume that he is the husband of the wife that has passed away. This makes the audience feel sympathy for the husband.
People are then entering the church and curtseying at the front in front of the coffin. As people sit down, the husband still stays stood at the front of the church. This shows the audience that people had respect for the woman that had passed away apart from one of the kids.
There is then a small dialogue between two men sat down, the audience think that they are his sons as they mention the word 'dad' during dialogue. After this peice of dialogue the service is about to begin as the man on the organs stops and the priest enters and stands at the front. The audience then know the service is going to begin as everyone becomes silent when the priest enters. The priest has a small bit of dialogue to say from the bible to the people at the service. But while he is doing this, one of the kids is busy on their phone paying no respect at all to the service. This puts her in a bad light to the audience for the film. During the service the husband of the wife is sat on an aisle with people but with a large gap between them. Showing the audience that he wants to be on his own to think and reflect her life.
The scene then switches from the church to a house. We all presume that the house belongs to the widow. It the shows inside where there is a small congregation of friends and family. This shows the audience that they are there to support him through a tough time you would think but really his son and his wife are after his house......
This film impacted on our own production because it helped us to see the variety of different angles we can use to add effect to the piece. Another way this film impacted our performance was effects and music that could be used in our own piece.
